El director de la Red de Salud San Román, Oscar Huenese Castro informó que la última muerte materna se registró en el hospital Carlos Monge Medrano este último sábado 3 de setiembre, dónde Karen Lucero Ticona (23), fue referida de la clínica particular "Nacer", pero sus controles lo realizaron en el hospital de la Provincia de Huancane, "la paciente llegó al hospital aproximadamente a las 9:00 A.M en estado crítico", indico Oscar Huenese.
