A$2.5M raise backs Dalaroo’s Bondoukou drilling

Dalaroo Metals Ltd (ASX) CEO John Morgan talked with Proactive about the company’s A$2.5 million capital raising and its planned 10,000-metre reverse circulation drilling campaign at the Bondoukou Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire. Morgan said the funding was raised specifically to advance Bondoukou as the company moves into an important phase of exploration. Drilling was expected to begin shortly after the interview, with the placement providing sufficient funding for the broader campaign and potentially leaving additional capital available for other activities. The placement attracted support from new and existing investors, including West African investors with experience backing mining companies focused on Côte d’Ivoire. Dalaroo’s board, senior management and in-country advisers committed about A$1 million in total, demonstrating substantial internal support for the company’s exploration strategy. Morgan also discussed the appointment of Bilal Ahmad as chairman and said Ahmad would bring industry connections, capital-markets experience and strategic input to the company. Looking ahead, Dalaroo plans to focus its activities on Bondoukou, with the reverse circulation campaign expected to be completed during the quarter.
