A 21-year-old man died overnight in a hit-and-run incident on the Turnpike in Beaver County. Troopers say Khalil Mutadabur's vehicle was disabled near the Beaver Valley interchange around 2:30 a.m. The Shaler Area graduate reportedly got out and was walking near milepost 14 when he was struck. State Police say the shoulders of the roadway in that part of the Turnpike are narrow, making it more dangerous for anyone stopped on the side of the road. Troopers are looking for the vehicle involved and are asking anyone with information or leads to call the Gibsonia barracks.
