A 37-year-old woman is shot to death and another person wounded in an apparent home invasion in Washington County.

A 37-year-old woman was shot to death and another person was wounded early this morning in an apparent home invasion in Washington County. The shootings took place around 1:15 a.m. at a house on Eleanor Street in Smith Township. The coroner says Renee Gill was fatally wounded and died at her home. A second person was taken to a hospital, condition unknown. Ppolice say they've started a homicide investigation.
