A 5-Minute BizzleCast PSA re: number of podcast releases

from The BizzleCast Podcast by The Bizzle

*** A 5-Minute BizzleCast PSA re: number of podcast releases Dear BizzleCast Listeners: A quick announcement and clarification about BizzleCast podcast releases. Listeners have probably noticed a significant increase in regularity and number of podcast releases in recent months, which has been a result of both an influx of new regular and semi-regular contributors and guests as well as an uptick of downloads and positive responses by you wonderful people! However, as I’ve re-dedicated myself to producing and sharing commentaries for all 75 or so episodes of the wonderful Star Wars Rebels, I have quickly realized that I am flirting with over-saturation, especially since the average Rebels episode is 23 minutes long and the average BizzleCast episode with my amazing guests and occasional film commentaries are between 90 minutes and two hours long. While I briefly considered “packaging” my Rebels commentaries into 3-4 episode individual podcasts, I don’t think this would be ideal for two reasons. Firstly, Rebels clearly does not lend itself to the epic but neat 3-4 episode mini-arcs or arc-lets that characterized and were so memorable in The Clone Wars (commentaries coming soon with Simi Climo!). And following this line of thought, with the limited word count I can cram into a SoundCloud podcast headline, it would be exceedingly difficult to advertise accurately and efficiently which episodes were “packaged” into which Rebels podcasts. With all that being said, I’ve decided to continue releasing each and every Rebels episode as individual podcast episodes that will be available daily on the BizzleCast SoundCloud page for both streaming AND download, I will only be releasing select episodes on my RSS feed via iTunes. This means that if you subscribe to the BizzleCast on any podcast app and get automatic downloads, you will ONLY get a handful of my favorite Rebels episode commentaries direct to your phone, tablet, or wherever you download your podcast subscriptions to. If you are loving the commentaries and want to here more of them, all you have to do is head over to SoundCloud.com and search “Bizzle’s Daily Rebels” where the playlist of the same name will have every episode available for free streaming or download anytime. You can also go directly to this URL: https://soundcloud.com/jessemodiba/sets/bizzles-daily-rebels I’m hoping to come up with a more elegant solution in the near future, but in the meantime I can’t let my passion for Star Wars Rebels overwhelm the greater BizzleCast project, and in the meantime this will let ALL Bizzlers get a taste of Rebels and the hard core fans like myself have access to the entire series, which I have to say once more I am absolutely LOVING going back through again and sharing my thoughts, feelings, theories, and more with you lovely people. Thank you SO much again for all your love and support, enjoy all my podcasts and commentaries, let me know what you’d like to see in the future, May The Force Be With You, and for now… the BizzleCast IS OUT!
