Alan is a musician, choral composer and author of the mystery novel href="https://www.bahaibookstore.com/Search.aspx?k=Consulting+Detective" target="_blank"Consulting Detective. Alan explains that since college his intention was to become a writer, and he was an avid reader of science fiction and mystery novels. So it seemed natural that he would eventually put these two together to produce his first mystery novel. Alan explains the significance of the book title and shares an excerpt from the novel in the interview.
