A Bear Hunt for the Record Books

On this episode of The Western Rookie Dan talks with his good friend and avid outdoorsman Weston Marsh about Weston’s recent trip to chase Canadian black bears with his bow.Weston grew up in Michigan and quickly became passionate about hunting and bass fishing. He is an avid waterfowl hunter but he primarily chases big game with his bow. Weston has lived in multiple states and always finds time to scout, pattern and have encounter with amazing whitetails. He recently returned to Florida (the state where he attended college) and connected with an old college friend that invited him on his first international hunting trip. Dan and Weston discuss the up’s, the downs and the underwater adventures that all come together to make up his first black bear hunt in Canada.
