A Beginners Journey into xAPI and eLearning Games with Jeffery Riley

Jumping into xAPI for the first time can seem daunting. Almost as daunting as learning to become an eLearning game designer. As luck would have it, we've found an eLearning game designer who recently took the plunge into the wonderful world of xAPI and used his knowledge of game design and blend the two as a learning opportunity. Jeffrey Riley is one of the hundreds of xAPI cohort attendees who decided to no longer lurk and learn, but to jump in with both feet and learn about xAPI by creating a project that connected with his love of game design. He learned all about the xAPI standard, and how to write statements without knowing any code at all. And going through the process he learned more about how to use an LRS and connect it to his LMS.
