A Better Table - Noel Heikkinen
from Messages – rivchurch Hosted by Noel Heikkinen
In this message, Noel explores 1 Kings 9 to demonstrate how times of blessing often present a hidden risk: drifting into subtle forms of idolatry. While Solomon meticulously performed the outward acts of worship, his heart began seeking satisfaction in secondary pursuits rather than God. The speaker contrasts temporary, recurring Old Testament rituals with the complete, once-for-all work of Jesus, urging listeners to move past quick, superficial comforts. Ultimately, believers are called to abandon lesser pursuits and find true, lasting fulfillment at God's table through a genuine, wholeheartedly restored relationship.
