1ST STORY Tonight’s story comes from Elise, who says she was just a young girl when she went camping near Asheville, North Carolina with her best friend’s family. It was meant to be a fun weekend of campfires, swimming, and sleeping under the stars. But after struggling in a cramped tent, Elise turned around in her sleeping bag and fell asleep with her head just outside the flap.Sometime in the night, she woke to something touching her face… and opened her eyes to what looked like a sheepdog with a human face staring down at her. Then it tapped her nose. As her eyes adjusted, she realized it wasn’t a dog at all, but a hair-covered, humanlike figure crouched beside her. Moments later, it stood up, stepped over her, and disappeared into the woods. For years, no one believed her. 2ND STORY Tonight’s story comes from Steve, who says that back in 1985, at just 17 years old, he attended a Junior Ranger program in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. What should have been a summer of training and adventure turned into something far more chilling. Late one night, after hearing repeated banging on the cabin wall and smelling a strong skunk-like odor, Steve worked up the courage to close the open window beside his bed… and came face to face with something he has never forgotten — a huge leathery face with black eyes and a flattened nose staring in from the darkness. He kept this to himself for decades, afraid of being laughed at. Now, he’s finally sharing what he believes was a real Bigfoot encounter in northern Ontario.
