A BizzleCast Retro: That Time 2.5 Years Ago When I Cast Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop

It’s crazy to think this classic Bizzle rant ft. the great Simi Climo was waaay back in **AUGUST of 2019** when we first thought Hailee Steinfeld was *CONFIRMED* to be Kate Bishop. While we were forced to suffer for almost a year and a half before getting our first photos of Hailee filming with Jeremy Renner aka Hawkeye in NYC (and she does indeed look SPECTACULAR in the Purple & Black!!!) we finally got her where she belongs — as a major Avenger for the near future and, in this Bizzle’s opinion, the future leader of the Avengers taking over from Captain America (more on that in an upcoming podcast with Jason Ritter about Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda aka the Scarlett Witch). This is a fun one, glad we finally got our girl!!! (2021 update note & Possible trigger warning: we all still thought Joss Whedon was awesome all around 2 years ago, but I don’t want to mess with history by cutting out a couple minutes of praising him because hey, he indeed put Babs Gordon on WB’s radars where she should’ve been all along.
