I believe that this rock depicts a negative aspect in our lives such as an unhealthy relationship, a sickness, an addiction, a negative attitude, which He wants us to admit to having, bringing it to him for whatever is needed, victory and comfort. Admitting our need and declaring His perfect provision are both required. "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us all in our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. With God affirming our trust in Him, others will be drawn into.His Kingdom.
