A Bourbon Brand Ships Whiskey to England — Now It's Opening Its Own Distillery — The Cut — S02E106

Never Say Die has always distilled in Kentucky, shipped the whiskey to Derbyshire, England to finish aging, then brought it home to bottle. That changes this fall. The brand confirmed it's opening a two-story brand home at 249 W. Short St. in downtown Lexington, complete with its own Distilled Spirits Plant license — the federal permission to actually distill, not just blend and bottle. The site will also be the only U.S. location selling its UK-only bottles, Barrel Strength Bourbon and Double Ocean Bourbon.
