A Call for Courage

We are living in a 'courage crisis'. C.S. Lewis famously commented that "courage is not simply one of the virtues, but the form of every virtue at the testing point...".  That is to say, courage is necessary for the exercise of any virtue, because all virtue requires courage when tested. The Scriptures call us to courage, and condemn cowardice.
