A Chance to Look Inside the Records of New York

On 31 Chambers Street, just across the street from City Hall, The Department of Records & Information Services (DORIS) works to document and archive New York in a building once known as the Hall of Records. DORIS has organized a new exhibit, 'NYC's Story: The City on Record,' where New Yorkers can come and see some of these records for themselves throughout 400 years of city history.
