A Change in Behavior Is Helping Me Build My Dream Life

Last year was all about survival and I’m not gonna lie, it almost took me out. I spent almost all of 2025 grieving while replaying my life’s movie from my mom’s guest room.I cried about people I loved taking advantage of me. I cried because I let them. I cried because I’ve had to work so. hard. in life. And I cried that I’ll never get to hug my baby brother again.When I was done, I was anew. I’m still getting used to who I am now and I know a few of my loved ones are too. Simply put, I’m different.November 2025 to March 2026 was my renaissance after my isolation period. And once again, it was so hard. I mean, exhausting, but this time I had help because I know how to identify my needs now and I know how to ask for help.
