On December 22, 2003 the lives of Melissa Gibson's father, mother, and brother were tragically cut short when an intruder broke into their missionary residence on the island of Palau at 3 a.m. in the morning. Before leaving Palau, Melissa's grandmother insisted on meeting the man who kidnapped her grand daughter and murdered her family.
