A Chat with Perry Jones, Development Officer with the Muddy Sneakers Program

We had a wonderful chat with Perry Hodgkins Jones who works with the amazing Muddy Sneakers program. Muddy Sneakers, based in Brevard (NC), partners with schools to give fifth graders an opportunity to leave the indoor classroom and take it outdoors. It’s an exciting program to hear about and even more exciting to be a part of. Boys and girls look forward to the days their Muddy Sneakers leaders meet them in the great outdoors. Students usually get out with the Muddy Sneakers gang at least six times during the year. Muddy Sneakers also runs a summer day camp that offers experiences to kids from ages 4 to 14.
