A Cheerful Defense | Pastor Rich Whitter

from Life Pointe Podcast · host Life Pointe Church

After hearing Paul's defense, Felix left him in prison with a plan to release him when he received a bribe from the Jews. Two years later Felix was replaced by Governor Porcius Festus who offered Paul an opportunity to appeal to Caesar. Paul accepted, and after a brief visit from King Agrippa II, the Apostle was sent to Rome for trial. Throughout these events, God remained faithful to Paul and his mission of spreading the gospel. He provided protection as Paul faced various dangers and trials, including those posed by Felix and Festus. In the end, despite being chained to a Roman soldier, Paul was able to continue his ministry in Rome. Through this story, we can see God's faithfulness to His people and those who remain faithful to His calling. He will always be there for us no matter what circumstances may come our way.
