A Christmas Moment - December 28th, Feast of the Holy Family #christmas #family

Dear friends, a very happy and holy Christmas season to you! We join Br Michael Moore OMI on the Feast of the Holy Family for today’s daily reflection and moment to pause. Sunday 28th December 2025 -  Matt. 2:13, 15-23 - The Holy Family: Take the child and its mother with you. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Good morning and welcome. Thank you for joining us for our morning prayer with the Oblate Family. Today, celebrate the feast of the Holy Family. Perhaps we received Christmas cards which showed this family as they looked for somewhere stay. After Jesus was born, they went into Egypt. Mary, Jesus and Joseph were forced to leave their home and become exiles and refugees in a foreign country. Today,  as we pray in thankfulness for our own family, we pray and for all families, especially those families who live in dangerous situations, because of war, famine or political persecution and those who like the Holy Family are forced to become exiles and refugees. Our Father.. Lord, may the Holy Family guide and protect us, and all families that are struggling or who are living with in dangerous and difficult situations. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Thank you for being with us this today for our morning prayer.
