A Church is Edified — Mission Midweeks — Josiah Kagin

The church at Antioch in Syria was an amazing work of God. It was the result of persecution, preaching and the power of God. The reports of what God had done among the Gentiles in Antioch and the planting of a church quickly spread all the way back to Jerusalem. The believers at Jerusalem were eager to be involved in what God was doing and so they sent one of their most beloved members to encourage the believers in Antioch in their new faith. The immediate impact of their action was a new church was edified and because of that, the Gospel spread globally.
