Proverbs 13:22 (KJV)Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.You might be surprised and even complain that people always come to you to fix their problems, borrow money, or ask for advice when you've already got enough of your own issues to fix.I want you to look at the second part of today’s verse. It likens us to a city on a hill which cannot be hidden. You see, you can’t hide when the blessings of God begin to manifest in your life. It even says, "Let your profiting appear to all!" (1 Timothy 4:15). A city functions as a centre for business, a source for everyday needs, etc. People will travel to the cities to earn a living. Do you see where this is going?Don’t be surprised when people come to you for help; you’re like a city to them as you are plugged into Christ, who is the primary source of our light and livelihood. They see you as a solution centre, so be the Joseph of your family and lead them out of poverty!PROPHETIC DECLARATIONI am the light of the world. I am a solution centre. I am the one leading my generation out of poverty, and they will come to know the God I serve because of what they witness in my life in Jesus' Name!FURTHER STUDYJohn 7:38
