Mark 10:46-52. On the eve of His entry into Jerusalem, Jesus finds Himself in Jericho talking to beggar who is blind in body but not in soul. The blind beggar knows Jesus to be the Son of David so he cries out for mercy because he wants to see. Jesus stops and calls the blind man proving that the Son of David delighst to show mercy to those who run to Him with their need.
