A Compassionate Touch

from Finding My Frequency · host Finding My Frequency

Samantha Donaldson is someone who approaches her work as a bodywork and massage specialist with great love and care. She is the owner of Awave Bodywork and currently practicing in Rochester, NY. A Syracuse NY native with a well established bodywork and massage business - Samantha relocated to Rochester NY thinking it might take her a year or more to build up her solo practice again after moving from another city. Before she knew it in a fast 4 months, she found her way in a new community and her own two feet with enough business to strike out on her own again.Beyond massage, Samantha followed her curiosity - and her clients needs - to deeper knowledge on women’s pelvic health and pre and postnatal yoga. Her own struggles, growing up with mental health and disordered eating, give her a deep well to draw from when holding space for others today. She’s learned to give each of her clients what she herself always needed - compassion.
