A Conscious Driven Life

from Bread for Life

This episode speaks on how context impacts our lives through influencing our thoughts, beliefs and often behavior and therefore the importance of thinking critically. The challenge is that humans have access to unlimited quantities of information combined with the fact that people's time is now spent on social media (the most engaged platforms on the planet) which has made people more addicted to short term gratification and sticking to whatever is fed to them as consumers. However, by using access to information wisely, it can turn hugely advantageous to gain awareness of context as there are enough resources for a person to find truth if they really take the time to find and learn the right information and ultimately be able to obtain results in any area of life by applying the right information. It is like a super power. We can make more better and more conscious decisions by using critical thinking, awareness and the access to information. We touch on principles of discipline, preseverance, having a strong foundation and the importance of preserving freedom of speech and press. Finally, I challenge people to keep in mind that we are spiritual beings and there is life after death and our decisions on this earth do matter, with the most important one being whether we decide to believe in Jesus Christ and make him Lord.
