Jim and Sue Knight are natives to the Westside of Los Angeles. They have been married for 31 years and have 4 children – Lindsey, Ryan, Alex, and Ellie. For the first 14 years of his career, Jim was a teacher and coach. He co-founded and was the Executive Director of The Culver City Academy of Visual and Performing Arts. For the last 16 years, he has served as the Head of School at Pacifica Christian High School in Santa Monica, California. Sue is a third-grade teacher at Calvary Christian School in Pacific Palisades, California. She has taught elementary school for 18 years and has been in leadership at her church. Both Jim and Sue graduated from UCLA. They served teens through the work of Young Life in West Los Angeles for a decade and are now on the board for Young Life West Los Angeles. For five summers they both led a summer boarding school in Switzerland for middle school and high school students from around the world. They have worked with teenagers in education and youth ministry for over 35 years. Kids and the city of Los Angeles are their passion.
