A Conversation on Biblical Manhood - Stand Firm and Act Like Men Roundtable

from Deepen with Pastor Joby Martin · host Pastor Joby Martin

Culture is confused. Manhood is under attack. Too many men have traded responsibility for comfort, strength for passivity, and humility for pride. But the Bible gives us a different charge: “Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love” (1 Cor. 16:13-14). In this roundtable, pastors, athletes, hunters, authors, and leaders share raw stories of failure and redemption, fatherhood and faith, and what it really means to be a man in God’s eyes. From the dangers of extended adolescence to the daily disciplines of brotherhood, mentorship, and service, this conversation is a call to arms. This is not about outdated stereotypes or cultural caricatures. This is about courage, conviction, humility, and responsibility. This is about becoming the kind of man your family needs, your community needs, and the kind of man God has called you to be.
