Dr. Parker's journey began with four years of dedicated service in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he earned accolades such as the Meritorious Unit Citation and Good Conduct Medal. His exceptional dedication led to acceptance into the U.S. Air Force Officer Training School and a subsequent role as a Minuteman II ICBM Commander within U.S. Space Command, earning further recognition, including the Presidential Unit Citation, National Defense Service Medal, and the Air Force Achievement Medal. Transitioning into the medical field, Dr. Parker pursued studies at Mayo Medical School and joined the U.S. Medical Corps, ultimately achieving the rank of captain.
