A Conversation with Jeffery Lee: an Incarcerated Man on Death Row Awaiting Execution Later Today

In this bonus episode of the podcast, I sat down with Jeffery Lee, an incarcerated man who has been on Alabama's death row for 26 years, despite the fact that his jury never voted for a death sentence. The state of Alabama plans to execute Mr. Lee today, on September 17 despite the fact that his jury never sentenced him to death and the law used to impose the death penalty has been abolished by Alabama and every single US state since 2017. In our conversation Jeffery shares more about his life before death row, about his faith, about his heros (his son and father), and more about his life and what gives him meaning and hope.
