He served as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers for 10 years, becoming a top aide to the PwC world chairman, and was the Democratic nominee for Texas comptroller in 2014, where he lost to Glenn Hegar. Collier is currently a senior adviser at Duff & Phelps, a global valuation and corporate finance adviser, specializing in financial due diligence.
