A conversation with Primordial & Korpiklaani - 01 May 09

from Black Night Meditations - Underground Metal Radio · host Black Night Meditations

Be aware! The audio quality is bad at times. Myself, Alan Averill (Primordial) and Jarkko Aaltonen (Korpiklaani) sat down in a pub with loud people and loud music. This made the recording very difficult. But when you have the opportunity to talk Metal for an hour with two bands over beers (and pineapple juice), you go with that unique opportunity. When it was loud, we had to speak up and that is what creates the unfortunate static noise. This can't be fixed. But much of our conversation sounds ok, and is worth the 53 minutes of your time. What started out as questions & answers quickly became a long talk about Metal. Alan had the most to say; Jarkko talked a lot too. Lucky for you, I mostly listened. Recording, touring, sightseeing, and more were discussed. Regardless of the sound quality, this is a must-listen. You have 3 people from different backgrounds, countries & cultures, yet all the same age and all in the music industry. Common Metal ground was found among the three of us, even though our places in Metal are quite different.Email/Requests: [email protected] Playlists: http://wsca.radioactivity.fm/show.html?showoid=1242 BLACK NIGHT MEDITATIONS - A heathenish foray along the shining path.
