Seliger currently sits on the Senate Health & Human Services, Nominations and Veteran Affairs & Border Security committees. Previously Seliger served four terms as mayor of Amarillo and was a member of the Amarillo City Commission and Amarillo Civil Service Commission.Watson, D-Austin, has represented District 14 since 2006. Watson is the vice chair of the Senate Nominations Committee and sits on the Education, Finance and Higher Education committees. Previously Watson served as Austin’s mayor from 1997-2001.
