A Daily Prayer to grow in maturity: ( Daily Devotional )

from Warfare Prayers Podcast : Daily Prayer, Devotionals, Deliverance, Daily Scripture, Spiritual Warfare · host Derrick Crosby

📔 Daily DevotionalIn this episode of "Warfare Prayers," Pastor Derrick Crosby leads a guided prayer and explores the Christian responsibility of bearing with the weaknesses of others, especially those new or struggling in their faith. Drawing from Romans 15:1-3 as the daily scripture, the message emphasizes balancing truth and grace—correcting with love and nurturing with patience. Pastor Derrick highlights the importance of daily devotionals and daily meditation on God's Word to strengthen our ability to support others. The church is likened to a hospital, where believers support, heal, and encourage one another rather than judge, fostering an environment of deliverance and spiritual growth. The episode concludes with a heartfelt prayer for wisdom, compassion, and strength to reflect Christ’s love and help others grow spiritually.📖 Daily ScriptureRomans 15:1-3**: "We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: 'The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.'💡 Key Devotion MomentsThe theme of bearing with the weaknesses of others, particularly weaker believers.Reference to Romans 15:1-3 and its teachings on supporting and being patient with others. The responsibility of stronger believers to encourage and nurture those still growing in faith. The importance of balancing truth and grace in spiritual guidance. The analogy of the church as a hospital for healing rather than a place of judgment. The role of truth in correcting and bringing about necessary change. The significance of grace in providing comfort and strength during correction. The example of Jesus showing grace to the woman caught in adultery. The call to pray for and support others in their spiritual journeys. The importance of reflecting Christ in actions and building up the body of Christ in love.🙌  Call To Action Subscribe To Warfare Prayer Podcast for daily inspiration, devotion and prayer. Share this episode with someone going through trails and challenges Leave a review for Warfare Prayers Podcast. Support Warfare Prayers Here 🛡 Spiritual Warfare Resources https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbL9sqcPLOrmzG0c91Igb6wWarfare Prayers WebsiteDaily Devotional and Prayer Transcript00:00:00  Welcome to Warfare Prayers, the podcast where you will find guidance and strength for life's toughest battles. Here you'll be inspired and spiritually grounded through my daily devotions, discovering the power of deliverance and peace that comes from God's Word. Brothers and sisters, I want to plant something in your mind, soul and spirits. I want you to bear something. I want you to pick up something and hold on to it and not let it go. Here's what I want you to bear. Other people's weaknesses bear peoples weaknesses. I challenge you to do that. And when I say bare people's weaknesses, I'm talking about of immature believers. Be careful how you conduct yourselves among weaker Christians. Why do I say this? Because the Bible says in Romans 15 one through three, we then, who are strong, ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification. Now, immature believers, they judge. They grumble, they complain, they murmur, and they criticize.00:01:30  Paul wants us to bear people's weaknesses. That's what it's saying here. Bear doesn't mean to put up with it. It doesn't mean to condone these things. It doesn't mean to justify these things. It means to bear the weak along. This is as a father or mother would bear a child simply because they learn from you. See, we make up a spiritual hospital. Weak people come to us not to be judged, but they come to us so that they may be healed. If you were to go to a hospital because you were bleeding and couldn't stop bleeding. You would not expect a doctor or physician to judge you or look at you in a weird, strange way because you have blood on your body. No, you would expect them to treat your wound or to treat what's going on with you. See, church is to be a hospital to not only rebuke, but to also treat. I would like to say this, and I want you to remember this as you go about your journey today.00:02:42  Always give people the truth, but give them grace as well. If you're going in for a surgery, truth is like the knife to cut someone open. But grace is the anesthesia that gives the body the power to endure the truth. We use the truth to tear down what's not good, but we use grace to build people up. So make sure your balance tell people they need to repent. Tell people there's a burning hell. Tell people the truth of God's Word, but also let them experience grace. Tell them about God's unfailing love. Tell them about the woman caught in the act of adultery. And God was ever so merciful with her. When everyone wanted to stone her. People need grace and truth. See, this is why the word says Jesus says Moses broke the law, but I came to bring grace and truth. People need the truth. To have the surgery. The knife that cuts within the depths of the soul. But they also need the grace, the anesthesia, to be able to handle the truth.00:04:13  Bare people's weaknesses. Realize and understand that just like Christ died for you, brothers and sisters, he died for them. Pray for them. Speak life over them. Declare God's word over them and you will help disciple someone. You will help them grow, and they will be grateful for your life and your maturity. Let us pray. Father, we pray in the powerful name of Jesus today. Help us not to be a stumbling block to anyone that's immature, to anyone that's growing and trying to learn. To anyone that's a babe in Christ. But help us, father, to be liked, to be an example, to be one who reflects you in all of our ways. To be one that's worthy of following. Worthy of listening to. So, father, we pray that you would plant more of your word within us. Help us to grow in wisdom, in knowledge and understanding. And we pray, father, that you would empower our faith to believe in you, even in chaotic and difficult situations.00:05:33  Father, we want to be pleasing in your sight. So we pray that your Holy Spirit would help us to do just that. For we realize that we can't do nothing without you. So, father, empower us to love others as you've loved us, to serve others as you've served us. To be faithful to others, as you have been faithful to us. Father, we want to reflect you. We want to duplicate you in all of our ways. Renew our minds, soul and spirit. Forgive us, father, for our sins anywhere where we've missed it. We pray for forgiveness. And we pray, father, that you will cleanse us of any unrighteousness. In Jesus name we declare these things by faith. Amen.
