She received a Post-Baccalaureate Intramural Research Training Award from the National Institutes of Health for her work in researching Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and has been published in the Journal of Neuroscience Methods. Amani completed a J.D./M.B.A. dual degree program at Rutgers School of Law and School of Business - Camden, marking the commencement of her legal career.
