A deeper cut at embracing conflict

from Unreasonably Grateful · host Terces Engelhart

This week we are still in the series where you send me a real-life situation or question and have me respond on an upcoming podcast. Remember I don’t have your answers, you do, however, I might just share a perspective you haven’t thought of and it may just give you some freedom or more growing room. Just email me at [email protected] and I will reply on an upcoming podcast. This week I am responding to an email I received asking this, My experience is there are some people when I choose to walk away or set a boundary, I get a toxic, fire-breathing dragon who is committed to their upset and as I extend the olive branch to leave them in good shape they try to bite my arm off or pull me back into their cave of drama.   My inner "keep the peace" and being a "nice guy" is having a hard time accessing my fierce, direct, and loving voice because I find myself feeling their pain and wanting to be tender rather than tougher. Ok, listen in if you ever have an experience like this one.   Notes Please send your real life situations to Terces [email protected] IG terces and unreasonablygrateful Get full access to Terces’s Substack at engelhart.substack.com/subscribe
