We've made it to Matthew 15 and baked into this section of scripture is a very controversial scene involving Jesus and a Canaanite woman. While this might be uncomfortable there are two major topics in the short section that we need to discuss in order to fully comprehend Jesus, His ministry and His heart for people. Unfortunately we live in a time of soundbytes and short form content and the topic of Jesus and racism is one that has been big over the last few years on social media, YouTube, etc and the reality is we need to discuss this.
