A different perspective with Krista Michalowicz
from infinite pie connection podcast · host Alan Fawcett
Krista Michalowicz is the wife of my previous guest, Mike Michalowicz, (just in case you thought it was a freak coincidence that I had two guest with the same name in such a short period of time).  During my conversation with Mike we discussed the ups and downs of being an entrepreneur, becoming an author and speaker and the impact that has on all around you.  In this conversation we get a different perspective. In this conversation Krista talks of her connection with where she grew up and what it means to her.  We discuss her love for films and books (and how trying convince other - yep, that is you again Mike - does not always ensure you achieve the outcome you are looking for), and how important it is to "find people and friends that make you grow".  Krista shares the lessons that she has learned from the people around her and the pivotal moments in her life. I constantly talk of the fact that there is not a "one size fits all" approach to life and that we all have different perspectives, views, and filters that we see the world through.  My conversation with Krista is a perfect example of this as we discuss some of the same situations and experiences that i discussed with Mike, just from a different perspective. It is fascinating to understand how we can all view the same experience in different ways, yet it is how we communicate with each other that will develop the connection. Listen in as Krista shares the style and approach of using "I" statements to ensure there is clarity when talking with others.  As for other tasks that can be seen from different perspectives, make sure you take notes when we discuss the impact of mowing the lawn.
