Growing up, I was a huge fan of Jim Henson’s Muppets, and I still am. One of the best things to watch around the Christmas holiday season is “Emmet Otter’s Jugband Christmas,” among other Henson specials.  For Part 1 of our discussion on Emmet Otter and Jim Henson, I’ve invited a friend of mine onto the podcast to speak about their experience as an intern for The Jim Henson Company and their fandom for the Muppets.  Melissa Scopelitis is a friend of mine that I met on a Muppet Facebook Group. She is an alumni of St. John’s College from St. John’s University (class of 1999), who was an intern at Henson for one semester.
