"To the Best of My Ability" The National WWII Museum Season 3As the international situation deteriorates, FDR faces multiple challenges: readying the country for war across two oceans, facing down the threats from Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan, and attempting to rally political support at home. Americans are not convinced of the foreign threat. Many are still isolationists, seeking to let the world solve its own problems while America stands aloof. Public opinion seems to be changing, but it's a gradual process. Will FDR be able to master these multiple crises? Will the American people rally behind him? Will the nation prepare in time to face one of the gravest threats in its history—or will all of FDR's efforts be too late? Join The National WWII Museum for Season 3 of this limited series podcast as we explore America's road to Pearl Harbor as seen through the eyes of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Conversations With Zalon Zalon Thompson Hi Zalon here, welcome to my first podcast. Most of you may know me as a Soul singer who tours the world, however, as human beings we aren't one dimensional. There are many facets that make up who we are.                                                 I was inspired to create this podcast because I found that I would often have great phone conversations with friends and many others that were not only inspiring, motivating and informative they were sometimes just fun. I often thought how amazing it would be for others to be able to listen in to these conversations that it may bring value to their lives in some way or offer a new perspective.  The aim of the podcast is for the guest and I to have a starting point/subject/idea then we allow the conversation to flow wherever it goes naturally. Jessica on a Journey: Decide to Live! Decide to Live with Jessica Larché Welcome to the Decide to Live Podcast! I'm Jessica Larché, a morning news anchor in Norfolk, Virginia. Like many of us, I've struggled with weight issues much of my life. A few years ago, I was at a crossroads with my weight when I had a serious wakeup call. I was nearly 270 pounds at the age of 27, and diagnosed with high blood pressure. Doctors put me on medication, and I finally realized this wasn't just about a number on a scale or what size my dress was at the time. I had to make a choice. Would I keep making decisions that would damn my health, or, would I decide to live? By eating better, exercising more, going to therapy and leaning on God, I was able to shed 100 pounds. I decided to live! A healthier lifestyle is an uphill decision every single day. So, right here on "Decide to Live", I'll share what I'm learning along the way, and introduce you to friends on their own journeys to face the obstacles in their own lives. We've all got something to grow through, right?
