A Dram With Deacon Stephen Robinson
from A Dram with Friends Hosted by A Dram with Friends
Deacon Stephen Robinson, Diocese of Calgary In this episode of A Dram with Friends, we get to know a good and faithful servant to the Lord. Meet Deacon Stephen, a long time friend of Sean’s and a board member of God Squad Canada. From a boy who’d complain: “Surely the Pope doesn’t go to Mass as often as we do.” To a Deacon and Triathlete who ranks in the top 4 in the world in his age group. Learn how a university drop out finally obtains a degree in Communication and a Masters in Theology. He teaches us the three kinds of books people have. Listen as this intellect opens his heart when he realizes that God sometimes calls us to be served in humility and how the parish community is so important to him. Deacon tells us what drew him to join God Squad and what he’d say to his 18 year old self. Finally, as a twist, Sean asks: Who is your favourite saint and why? You’d be surprised. You have three guesses to get it right. #GodSquad #CatholicYYC #Deacon
