Estabelecimentos de saúde, como hospitais, clínicas, consultórios e laboratórios precisam promover o descarte correto de todo resíduo resultante de suas atividades. Podem ser materiais potencialmente infectantes, químicos, perfurocortantes ou com rejeitos radioativos.Esses resíduos hospitalares são tratados em duas fases: a intra hospitalar, que envolve uma equipe multidisciplinar, e a externa, que envolve cuidados com transporte e destinação e que está diretamente ligada à engenharia. E a questão dos resíduos é o tema do nosso episódio de hoje.Participam três especialistas:O engenheiro ambiental e pesquisador da Fundação Ezequiel Dias Marcos Mol, membro da COPAGRESS - Comissão Permanente de Apoio ao Gerenciamento de Resíduos de Serviços de Saúde e membro também do Grupo de Trabalho Engenharia na Gestão dos Resíduos de Serviços de Saúde do Crea-MG; O biólogo Licínio Xavier, que também integra o GT e é Assessor Técnico de Meio Ambiente na Associação Mineira de Municípios;E o administrador Gilson Vilela, Diretor da Serquip Tratamento de Resíduos.‘Um Bom Conselho’ é o podcast do Crea-MG produzido pela RW Cast - a central de podcasts do Grupo Radioweb.
