While he fought to get well in the hospital, war broke out in Roman's home country of Ukraine. His wife Roza and their three children, Milana (10), Nathan (7), and Solomiya (20 months) left everything behind in Kyiv but one bag full of necessities... and fled to Poland. By the grace of God, the Vaschuk family reunited at SeaTac and they are once again safe and well... and together.
