A Few Moments With Valerie June

Valerie June joins us ahead of her Sunday, September 13 performance at Maryland Hall as part of the Annapolis Songwriters Festival, just two days after the release of her new EP, Brighter Blue. The Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, poet, and author talks about why she still lets songs come to her rather than forcing the process, how unfinished songs can wait years before they are ready, and why being surrounded by other songwriters in Annapolis is something she is genuinely looking forward to.
