A Few Thoughts on the Deinstitutionalization of the Church

I saw a post on social media from Rend Collective about being a worship band for people who don’t go to church. That got me to thinking about how the the church has become less like a social institution helping people navigate life in preparation for the life to come and more like a temporal community centered organization. The church is losing its primary reason for existence and finding spirituality inside its four walls is discouraged.
