A Finalized Finish

Jesus' final words from the cross, "It is finished" (tetelestai), were not a cry of defeat but a declaration of complete victory. Just as the ancient runner from Marathon announced triumph before collapsing, Jesus proclaimed that the work of redemption was fully accomplished. The debt of sin was paid, the sentence of judgment was satisfied, and the spiritual battle against sin, death, and Satan was won. Because Christ finished the work, salvation is not earned but received through faith. The same gospel that secured eternal victory also calls America to return to its biblical foundations, recognizing that true liberty cannot endure apart from God.
