A Firm Foundation
from Mark 2:22 Ministries Hosted by Mark 2:22 Ministries
In this paradigm-shifting message from "The Church of Acts: Part 2" series, Pastor Kevin challenges the modern church’s focus on systems, programs, and religious activity over genuine relationship. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 3, he reveals that anything built on a foundation other than intimate communion with Jesus Christ will not survive the refining fire of the Holy Spirit. By closely examining the life of Jesus—His baptism, His constant withdrawal to pray, and His ultimate surrender in the Garden of Gethsemane—Pastor Kevin highlights that we cannot replicate the works of Christ without first adopting the lifestyle of Christ. He issues a bold call to let go of the past, stop settling for "hybrid Christianity," and return to a life of continual abiding.
