A focus on the NGO Sector in SA

Guest: Dr. Matome Kganakga - Coordination Committee Member Of The South African National Aids Council Civil Society Forum NGOs play an indispensable role in South Africa, many times bridging the gap between governments and citizens, particularly in the provision of basic services, such as health, water, sanitation, and education, to name but a few.  However, government has faced criticism, particularly relating to the lack of support for the NGOs, which has resulted in poor collaboration between the government and the NGOs.
