Today I saw a four pronged garden fork, good for loosening and aerating soil without damaging roots. Let us ask God's Holy Spirit to loosen our hearts to receive His word and to apply what is good in our lives to bear much fruit. Old Testament Prophet Hosea (10:12) tells us 'Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you". This is encouraging us to be intentional about this. Old Testament Prophet Jeremiah (4:3) also says, "Plow up the hard ground of your hearts! Do not waste your good seed among thorns". What a good reminder that we have good seed. Let's not waste our days on bad seed on poor ground.
