A Free Press is NOT Free - it needs $$$

Free Speech isn’t free.  A Free Press isn’t free.  When you report the news, you have to report all the news.  So when your station reports on, say, an embezzlement at a local bank, that bank will get offended and not want to advertise with you.  When you report on allegations of misconduct at a pseudo-governmental non-profit, people who like that non-profit won’t advertise. We’re a news agency.  We report the news.  If we were to ignore stories that offended advertisers, we wouldn’t be doing our job.  Please support the advertisers who make it possible for us to be here.  And those other businesses?  Ask them why they don’t believe in a free press.  You may not always agree with the news -- that's your right -- but think of a life without it, and relying on the rumor and innuendo spread through Social Media. Because we're your neighbors, and Social Media doesn't give a crap about you...(Yes, I know the image is not of US Dollars...this one was just easier...)
