A Fresh Coat of Snow, how Psychedelic Integration can help us choose a new path.

from Brave to the Bone · host Tawnya Gilbert

This episode details the magic of lasting transformation with psychedelic integration. Kathryn LaRoe, LCSW, CCTP, CMHIMP Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider. Katie is a woman of deep personal understanding and has forged a way forward in helping others in such an in-tuned aligned way. She is radiant intelligent and I absolutely loved her story!  Kathryn LaRoe, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She graduated from University of Southern California with a Masters in Social Work. specializing in treating PTSD/Trauma, mood disorders, attachment and relationship concerns, and psychedelic preparation and integration. She provides integrative therapy to individuals who have had Ketamine therapy or other psychedelic experiences to help them understand how to implement the lessons learned into their daily life for long lasting benefit. In order to aid in healing and your personal growth, she provides guidance utilizing both a top down (Cognitive) and bottom up (Somatic) approach. Approaches in treatment that I utilize include DBT, CPT, Seeking Safety, ACT, mindfulness, meditation, breath work, and healing touch/energy balancing techniques. I utilize modalities that incorporate the mind, body, and soul. It is her belief that radical transformation occurs by tending to the needs of the mind in the ways we think, the body in the ways we release physical tensions as a result of trauma, and the soul in the way we connect to self/others/and higher purpose.
